    2. 1 cup corn syrup

    3. 3/4 cup sugar

    4. 1 cup boiling water

    5. 1/4 cup corn oil

    6. 2- 3/4 cups flour

    7. 1/4 cup cornstarch

    8. 1 teaspoon soda

    9. 1 teaspoon salt

    10. 1- 1/2 teaspoons ginger

    11. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    12. 1/2 teaspoon clove

    1. Combine the ingredients in the order given.

    2. Beat thoroughly.

    3. Pour into a medium-sized dripping pan greased with corn oil.

    4. Bake thirty minutes at 350 degrees F.
