  1. 1/4 lb 113g / 4oz Butter

  2. 1 cup 160g / 5.6oz Brown sugar - packed

  3. 1 Egg

  4. 1 1/4 cups 78g / 2.8oz All-purpose flour

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla

  6. 1 cup 237ml Pecan pieces

  1. Recipe Instructions Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar until well blended. Beat in egg, then flour, vanilla and pecans. Drop dough by rounded teaspoon, 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 375F oven 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and crisp. Remove immediately from baking sheet and let cool on racks. Makes 3 dozen.
