  1. 1/2 cup butter

  2. 1/2 cup 5 1/2-oz. can 2 eggs

  3. 3/4 cup sugar

  4. 3/4 cup all-purpose flour

  5. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  6. 1 cup nuts -- chopped

  7. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  1. Preparation : Makes 3 dozen 1. Melt butter and mix with chocolate syrup; set aside until cool.

  2. Beat eggs without separating; add sugar and beat again.

  3. Sprinkle flour, sifted with baking powder, over nuts.

  4. Mix ingredients together, adding vanilla.

  5. Spread into a greased, floured 9 x 9 x 1 3/4-inch pan; bake in preheated 350 F. oven 25 minutes.

  6. Cut into 1-inch squares and serve.
