Saucy Meatloaf

  1. 1 cup soft bread crumbs

  2. 1 cup milk

  3. 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck

  4. 1 egg

  5. 1/4 tsp. pepper

  6. 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

  7. 2 tsp. chopped onion s

  8. 1/2 cup catsup

  9. 3 Tbsp. brown sugar

  10. 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard

  11. 1/4 tsp. salt

  12. 1/2 cup water

  1. Combine bread crumbs and milk and let stand for a few min. Mix with ground chuck. Add egg, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Form into a loaf and place in a 9x5 loaf pan. Combine catsup, sugar, mustard, salt and water. Pour over meatloaf. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 15 min. basting occasionally. Let stand for 10 min. before serving. Slice and serve with its sauce.
