  1. 1 3/4c All-purpose flour Frosting (below) Chocolate Butter-Cream chocolate, melted

  2. 2 Squares unsweetened

  3. 1 Egg

  4. 1/2ts Baking soda

  5. 1/2ts Salt

  6. 1 ts Vanilla extract softened

  7. 1/2c Butter or margarine,

  8. 1/2c Milk

  9. 3/4c Sugar

  10. 1 c Pecan halves

  1. + Directions : Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Into large bowl, measure all ingredients except Frosting and pecans; with mixer at low speed, beat until blended, scraping bowl constantly with rubber spatula. Increase mixer speed to medium; beat 3 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally, until well blended. Drop batter by heaping teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets, about 1 inch apart. Bake 8 to 10 minutes until cookies are puffy and slightly cracked on top. Cool. Top cookies with frosting; garnish with pecans. Makes 48 cookies.
