  1. 1 pound(s) Pork Sausages

  2. 1 medium Onion

  3. 1 can(s) Red Kidnet Beans

  4. 1/2 pint(s) Beef Stock

  5. 1 can(s) Chopped Tomato

  6. 1 teaspoon(s) Dried Oregano

  7. 1/2 teaspoon(s) Chilli Powder

  8. 25 milliliter(s) Red Wine

  9. 1 tablespoon(s) Olive Oil

  1. Fry the sausages in olive oil until lightly browned and remove from the pan.

  2. Roughly chop the onions and fry gently until soft and golden.

  3. Cut the sausages into pieces approx 1'' long and return to the pan. Add the oregano and chilli powder and mix evrything together.

  4. Add the stock and red wine if using. Turn up the heat so that the liquid bubbles and reduces.

  5. Once the liquid has reduced by half add the chopped tomato and simmer gently for 10 minutes.

  6. Open drain and rinse the red kidney beans and add to the pan. Cover the pan and simmer gently for approx 30 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning.
