  1. Tomato-Potato Salad (Pareve)

  2. 1 pound new potatoes, cut into 1 inch pieces

  3. 1 pound ripe tomatoes, (2 large) cut into chunks, including juice

  4. 1/4 cup fresh minced basil

  5. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  6. pinch sea salt

  7. freshly ground pepper

  8. Cook the potatoes in boiling water until tender. Drain, pat dry,

  9. and place in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and toss

  10. well to combi ne. Serve warm or very slightly chilled. (serves

  11. 4)
