  1. 3 tablespoons margarine or butter

  2. 1 package mini marshmallow s

  3. 1/2 cup peanut butter

  4. 6 cups puffed rice cereal

  1. Put rice cereal in a large bowl and set aside.

  2. Spray 13x9x2-inch pan with non-stick spray and set aside.

  3. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until almost melted. Add peanut butter and blend together until smooth.

  4. Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal, scraping saucepan to get all the ooey-gooey goodness. Gently fold until cereal is well coated.

  5. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into pan. If you like your treats light and airy, don’t press too hard. If you prefer denser treats, flatten ’em out good. Remember, though, that these will be a bit denser anyway, due to the peanut butter, so it’s best to err on the side of air.

  6. Cool slightly and cut into squares to enjoy a warm, peanut buttery treat!
