  1. Fusilli pasta, about 50g (2oz) per person

  2. 1 apple, chopped

  3. 3 to 4 spring onions, chopped

  4. Handful of cherry tomatoes

  5. 1 avocado, skinned and chopped

  6. 1 x can smoked mackerel, chopped

  7. 1tbsp plain yogurt

  8. 1tbsp mayonnaise

  9. Fresh or dried dill

  1. Cook the pasta according to packet instructions. Meanwhile, mix together the apple, tomato, spring onions, avocado and mackerel.

  2. Blend together the yogurt and mayonnaise. Stir into the apple and mackerel mixture and season with dill.

  3. Drain the cooked pasta and stir into the mackerel mixture. Season with salt and pepper if necessary. Serve with mixed salad.
