    2. 3 egg plants, peeled, sliced

    3. 4 tomatoes, sliced

    4. 1 onion, peeled, chopped

    5. 2 potatoes, peeled, sliced thin

    6. 1 cup water

    7. 3 tablespoons butter

    8. Seasonings to taste

    1. Put all ingredients together in a kettle.

    2. Cover.

    3. Let cook slowly for about 20 minutes.

    4. Then serve.
