  6. 1/3 c All-purpose flour

  14. Combine flours and salt; cut in shortening with pastry

  15. blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle cold

  16. 1 tablespoon at a time

  17. with a fork until dry ingredients are moistened. Shape

  18. into a ball; chill. To fit into pieplate, roll dough to

  19. 1/8-inch thickness on a lightly floured surface. Place in

  20. a 9-inch pieplate; trim off excess pastry along edges.

  21. Fold edges under and flute. For baked pastry shell, prick

  22. bottom and sides of pastry generously with a fork. Bake at

  23. 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.

  24. Yield: pastry for one 9-inch pie. --
