  1. 2 cups 125g / 4.4oz Flour

  2. 2 cups 396g / 13oz Sugar

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Soda

  4. 2 teaspoons 10ml Cinnamon

  5. 1 teaspoon 5ml Salt

  6. 2 Eggs

  7. 2 Cherries; drain - reserv juice

  8. 1 cup 237ml Nuts

  9. Hot Sauce

  10. 1 cup 198g / 7oz Sugar

  11. 2 tablespoons 30ml Flour

  12. Butter

  13. 1 teaspoon 5ml Almond flavoring

  1. Blend first 5 ingredients together by hand; do not use mixer. Add eggs and cherries; mix until just blended. Add nuts. Pour into 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake in 350F oven for about 40 minutes.

  2. Hot Sauce: Add sugar and flour to reserved cherry juice; cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from stove; add small amount butter and almond flavoring. Serve hot over pudding.
