  2. 8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds)

  3. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour

  4. 1 1/2 teaspoons salt

  5. 1 dash pepper

  6. 3 tablespoons margarine

  7. 1 pound tomatoes

  8. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  9. 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  10. 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  11. 1 teaspoon chili powder

  12. 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  13. 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds

  14. 1 clove garlic -- minced

  15. red pepper sauce -- to taste

  1. Shake drumsticks in a plastic bag with flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and the pepper. Brown in butter or margarine in a large skillet or an electric slow cooker; remove. Stir tomatoes, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire, chili powder, dry mustard, celery seeds, garlic and red pepper seasoning into pan drippings; bring to boiling. Combine drumsticks and sauce in slow cooker; cover. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours, or until chicken is tender. Serve with spaghetti. Sweet and spicy.
