  2. LINGUINE STIR-FRY WITH GREEN BEANS AND GARLIC

  6. 1 lb Linguine or Spaghetti

  7. -OR Thin Spaghetti,

  8. - uncooked 2 ts Vegetable oil -- divided

  9. 1 lb Boneless chicken breasts

  10. - (skinless),

  11. - cut into slivers

  12. 1 lb Green beans

  13. - trimmed and cut in half 2 Red bell peppers -- diced

  14. 4 Garlic cloves -- minced, OR..

  15. 1 1/2 ts Garlic powder

  16. 1/4 c Teriyaki sauce

  17. 1 c Low-sodium chicken broth

  18. Prepare pasta according to package directions; drain.

  19. In a large non-stick wok or skillet, warm 1 teaspoon

  20. of the vegetable oil over high heat. Add the chicken

  21. and stir-fry until firm and opaque, about 4 minutes.

  22. Remove the chicken and set it aside. Add the second

  23. teaspoon of oil to the pan. Add green beans, reduce

  24. heat to medium, cover and cook for 7 minutes. Uncover,

  25. add red pepper, stir well and cook an additional 5

  26. minutes. Add the garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.

  27. Stir in the teriyaki sauce and the chicken broth. Heat

  28. to a simmer and then toss with the chicken and pasta.

  29. Serve immediately.
