  1. 3 pounds veal, cut into pieces

  2. flour seasoned with herbs (thyme,oregano,salt,pepper)

  3. 1 can beef consomme

  4. 1 can mushroom soup

  5. 3/4 c. white wine (Sauterne)

  6. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  7. 1 can sliced mushrooms with juice

  8. 2 c. thin egg noodles

  9. Dust veal with seasoned flour. Brown well in butter. Add

  10. consomme,mushroom soup,wine,Worcestershire and mushrooms. Simmer

  11. until meat is tender (About two hours). Add 2 c. thin egg noodles until soft. (about 20 minutes).
