  2. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  3. 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice

  4. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil

  5. 2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel

  6. 2 tsp. cayenne pepper

  7. 1/2 tsp. salt

  8. 2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  1. Whisk together brown sugar, lemon juice, oil, peel, cayenne and salt in a medium bowl. Add shrimp, turning to coat. Cover and let stand 30 to 60 minutes.

  2. Prepare grill. Thread shrimp onto skewers. Grill shrimp about 2 minutes per side until just cooked through. Serve immediately.
