  6. 2 ts Olive oil or margarine

  7. 1/4 c Chopped onion

  8. 1 Garlic clove, minced

  9. 1/2 c Sliced fresh mushrooms

  10. 1 c Tomato juice

  11. 1/2 c Frozen tiny peas

  12. 2 oz Fontina or mozzarella

  13. -cheese, shredded

  14. 1/2 c Cooked ditalini or other

  15. -tube macaroni

  16. 5 ts Chopped fresh parsley

  17. 1 d Each salt and pepper

  18. In 1-quart saucepan heat oil; add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent. Add mushrooms and saute over high heat until mushrooms exude liquid,

  19. about 2 minutes; add juice and bring to a boil. Cook

  20. until sauce is slightly thickened, about 15 minutes;

  21. add peas and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3

  22. minutes longer. Add remaining ingredients and cook,

  23. stirring, until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
