  2. 1 lb fish, cut into bite-size pieces

  3. 5 tbsp oil

  4. 1 tbsp wine

  5. 2 tbsp soy sauce

  6. 1 stalk leek, diced

  7. 3 slices ginger

  8. B:

  9. 2 cakes bean curd, cut into 1-inch squares

  10. 4 tbsp soy sauce

  11. 1 tbsp sugar

  12. 2 tbsp wine

  13. 1/2 tsp salt

  14. Dash of MSG

  15. 5 small red peppers or a few drops of Tabasco

  1. Clean and scale fish, wash and wipe. Cut into bite-size pieces.

  2. Heat 5 tbsp oil and fry fish.

  3. Add remainder of A ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes.

  4. Add bean curd and other B ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. Serve hot.
