  6. 2 large McIntosh apples

  7. 2 large pears

  8. 1/2 pound(s) seedless green or red grapes

  9. 2 cup(s) sliced celery hearts , with leaves

  10. 1 bunch(es) watercress

  11. 2/3 cup(s) Stilton or Gorgonzola cheese , crumbled

  12. 2/3 cup(s) coarsely chopped black walnuts or filberts , toasted

  13. 1 pomegranate , seeds only

  1. Into large bowl, squeeze juice from lemon; stir in mayonnaise dressing, celery salt, white pepper, and cardamom. Cut unpeeled apples and pears into 1-inch chunks; cut each grape in half.

  2. Stir apples, pears, grapes, and celery into mixture; cover; refrigerate.

  3. To serve, line platter with watercress. Stir cheese and walnuts into salad; spoon salad over watercress; sprinkle with pomegranate seeds.
