  1. 4 cups all-purpose flour

  2. 1 cup shortening

  3. 3/4 cup unsalted butter

  4. 1 Tbs sugar

  5. 1 Tbs vinegar

  6. 1 egg

  7. 1/2 cup water

  1. Mix together first four ingredients with fork or pastry cutter. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg, add water then vinegar and stir. Combine egg mix with other ingredients and mix. Split dough in half, wrap in waxed paper and chill for at least 15’. Roll out dough between two pieces of waxed paper
