  1. 24 Dried apricots - halved

  2. 1/2 cup 118ml Water

  3. 1/4 cup 82g / 2.9oz Maple syrup Crust

  4. 1 1/2 cups 93g / 3 1/3oz Unbleached flour

  5. 1/2 cup 164g / 5.8oz Maple syrup

  6. 1 1/2 cups 297g / 10oz Butter

  7. 3/4 cup 46g / 1.6oz Oats

  8. 1 cup 237ml Walnuts or pecans

  1. Recipe Instructions Simmer apricots in water about 1 hour. Let cool to lukewarm, and add maple syrup. Set aside. Cut together crust ingredients. Begin by making a well in the flour and then adding other ingredients; mixture will be crumbly. Press one half of the dough into the bottom of a lightly oiled 9-inch square pan. Pour on apricot filling. Sprinkle on remaining dough. Bake at 325F for 1 hour. Cool and cut. Serves 9
