  1. 1/4 cup 49g / 1.7oz Margarine or butter - melted

  2. 1 tablespoon 15ml Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce

  3. 2 teaspoons 10ml Tabasco pepper sauce - (to 3 tspns)

  4. 1 1/4 teaspoons 6 1/3ml Lawry's seasoned salt

  5. 8 cups 320g / 11oz Favorite Chex brand cereals

  6. (corn, rice and/or wheat)

  7. 1 cup 110g / 3.9oz Mixed nuts

  8. 1 cup 237ml Pretzels

  9. 1 cup 146g / 5.1oz Bite-size cheese crackers

  1. Microwave Oven: Combine margarine, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco pepper sauce and seasoned salt; mix well. Pour cereals, nuts, pretzels and cheese crackers into large Glad-Lock Zipper Bag.

  2. Pour margarine mixture over cereal mixture inside Zipper Bag. Seal top of bag securely. Shake bag until all pieces are evenly coated.

  3. Pour contents of bag into large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high 5 to 6 minutes, stirring throroughly every 2 minutes. While stirring, make sure to scrape sides and bottom of bowl. Spread on absorbent paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

  4. Conventional Oven: Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  5. Follow steps 1 and 2 above.

  6. Pour contents of bag into open roasting pan. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool and store as directed above.

  7. This recipe yields 11 cups.
