  2. MACCARONI AND SAUCE

  8. 2 tb Olive Oil

  9. 3/4 c Onion -- chopped

  10. 2 Cloves Garlic -- minced

  11. 2 sm Cans Tomato Paste

  12. 2 1/2 c Water

  13. 1 1/4 tb Oregano

  14. 1 1/4 tb Basil

  15. Salt -- to taste

  16. 1/8 tb Pepper

  17. 4 oz Can Mushrooms

  18. Grated Parmesan Cheese

  19. Serve with macaroni or your choice of pasta.

  20. Heat oil in heavy saucepan, saute garlic and onion

  21. till tender. Combine remaining

  22. not cheese

  23. and stir

  24. into garlic mixture. Cook sauce until it is as thick

  25. as you like.

  26. Ten minutes before serving stir cheese into sauce.

  27. It is really good if you toss parmesan cheese into your

  28. pasta before serving. As much or little as you like.

  29. This was brought to our potluck on Thursday. Reaylly
