  1. 1 (40-ounce) package frozen macaroni and cheese 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1 medium onion, chopped 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can chicken broth 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 (10-ounce) package frozen sweet green peas, thawed 1 (14 1/2-ounce) can sliced carrots, drained 1 (3-ounce) can chow mein noodles

  1. Remove macaroni and cheese from outer carton; cut film cover to vent. Microwave macaroni and cheese, covered, at HIGH 15 minutes; uncover, stir, and replace film cover. Microwave 5 to 9 more minutes. Let stand in microwave 2 minutes. Cut chicken into 1/2-inch cubes. Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add cubed chicken and chopped onion, and saute 5 minutes. Add chicken broth, salt, and pepper, and cook 10 minutes. Stir in peas, sliced carrots, and macaroni and cheese; simmer 10 minutes. Sprinkle each serving with chow main noodles.
