  1. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Ground turkey

  2. 2/3 cup 41g / 1.4oz Currants

  3. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Seasoned bread crumbs - (whole grain)

  4. 1/4 cup 15g / 1/2oz Onions - minced

  5. 1/4 cup 27g / 1oz Celery - minced

  6. 1/4 cup 59ml Walnuts

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Soy sauce

  8. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vegetable salt

  9. Pepper to taste

  10. 2 tablespoons 30ml Butter

  1. Combine turkey and currants. Add next 7 ingredients and mix until well-blended. Melt butter in a large frying pan. Make 3-inch patties and fry over medium heat. Turn once, when browned, then serve.
