  2. SAUCEPAN FUDGE BROWNIES

  7. 1/2 c Butter Or Margarine -- Melted

  8. 2 oz Chocolate -- Unsweetened

  9. 1 c Sugar

  10. 2 ea Eggs -- Large

  11. 1 t Vanilla

  12. 3/4 c Flour -- Unbleached

  13. 1/2 c Nuts -- Chopped

  14. Melt butter or margarine and chocolate in a saucepan.

  15. Remove from heat; stir in 1 cup sugar. Blend in eggs,

  16. one at a time. Add vanilla. Stir in flour and nuts

  17. and mix well. Spread in greased 8 X 8 X 2-inch baking

  18. pan.

  19. 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool; cut into squares. Makes 16 brownies. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
