  3. 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice

  4. 3 centiliters garlic -- minced

  5. 1 teaspoon honey

  6. 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme -- crushed

  7. 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  8. salt and pepper to taste

  9. 4 chicken breast halves

  10. boneless and skinless

  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients except chicken; mix well.

  2. Cut chicken lengthwise into strips about 1 inch wide.

  3. Thread chicken onto 8 skewers; brush generously with sauce mixture.

  4. Grill chicken over hot coals, covered, 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through, basting with sauce once or twice. Discard remaining sauce.
