  1. 1 tub (16 oz) reduced-fat sour cream

  2. 1/2 cup light mayonnaise

  3. 4 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded (1 cup)

  4. 4 scallions, finely chopped

  5. 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled Accompaniments: potato chips and cut-up raw vegetables for dipping

  1. Mix ingredients in a medium bowl until blended. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours for flavors to blend, or overnight. Serve with chips and vegetables.
