  2. 10 ounces flour

  3. 10 ounces cold tea 5 ounces sugar

  4. 15 ounces fruit

  5. 2 ounces margarine

  6. 1 teaspoon spice

  7. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  8. 2 teaspoons treacle

  1. Put tea, sugar, fruit, margarine and treacle into pan. Bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool. Sift in flour, spice and baking soda. Bake for 1 hour or a little longer in a moderate oven.
