Cherry Cheesecake Ice Cream *

    1. 3 oz Cream cheese; softened 

    2. 1/2 ts Almond extract

    3. 1 cn Sweetened condensed milk 

    4. 17 oz Dark sweet cherries; pitted

    5. 2 c Half and half - well drained -OR-

    6. 2 c Whipping cream, unwhipped 

    7. 10 oz Maraschino cherries; drained

    8. 1 tb Vanilla - chopped

    1. In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sweetened condensed milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into ice cream freezer container. Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. Makes 1-1/2 quarts.
