  1. ANCHOVIES AND GARLIC SAUCE

  2. serves 4 2 garlic cloves

  3. Oil

  4. 300 g (10-1/2 oz.) anchovies (or one can)

  5. Salt and pepper

  6. Cooked spaghetti, for four, reserve some cooking liquid

  7. Saute the whole garlic in the oil then remove it as soon as it gets

  8. golden in color, add the anchovies and a couple of spoonful of the

  9. water you used to cook spaghetti and let them melt (it takes only

  10. a few minutes). Add salt and pepper to taste.
