  1. 2 cups rice

  2. 1/2 cup channa dal

  3. 1/4 cup urad dal

  4. 3 medium size tomatoes

  5. 4 green chillies

  6. 4 tbsp fresh cocont

  7. 2 tsp jeera powder

  8. 3 tsp coriander powder

  9. 2 finely chopped onions

  10. 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves

  11. Few curry leaves

  12. Salt to taste

  1. Soak rice, channa dal, urad dal for 7-hrs.

  2. Grind it to a smooth paste like dosa batter.

  3. Leave it to ferment over night.

  4. Grind tomatoes, coconut, green chillies to a smooth paste & add it to the fermented batter.

  5. Now add jeera & coriander powder, chopped onions, coriander leaves & curry leaves & salt according to taste.

  6. Mix all the ingredients well.

  7. Now heat griddle, pour the batter & spread it lightly (not to thin like dosa).

  8. Put 2 tsps of oil.

  9. Once it is heated for two minutes turn the omelet to the other side using a flat spatula and heat it upto two more minutes.
