  1. 1 head of cauliflower

  2. pancake batter (Bisquick works well)

  3. oil for frying

  1. Clean cauliflower and steam until just tender Cool and separate into bite sized florets.

  2. Dip each floret into prepared pancake batter, letting excess drip off back into bowl.

  3. Deep fry cauliflower pieces a few at a time in a counter top fryer or on the stove in a skillet, until nicely browned. Drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper .

  4. Serve hot.
