  5. 2 lb boneless meat from beef

  6. -short ribs; more or less,

  7. -sliced thin

  8. 1 c soy sauce

  9. 1/2 c sugar

  10. 1 tb sesame oil

  11. 1 1/2 ts black pepper

  12. 1 1/2 ts monosodium glutamate

  13. 3 Cloves garlic; chopped fine

  14. 1 md white onion; chopped

  15. Mix all of the ingredients but the meat in a wok (no additional oil is

  16. needed); stir and heat, then add the meat and cook, stirring, until no longer

  17. red. Overcooking likely will toughen the meat. NOTE: Any good, tender grade or cut of lean beef would serve equally well.
