  1. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  2. 1 pound pork loin, cut into 1 inch cubes 1 (12-ounce) jar pork gravy

  3. 2 tablespoons white-wine vinegar

  4. 1 tablespoon steak sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  6. 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

  7. 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  8. 1 cup halved or quartered fresh mushrooms

  9. 1 stalk celery, sliced

  10. 3/4 cup frozen pearl onions

  11. 1/2 medium green pepper, cut into 3/4 inch squares 1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained

  12. 1/2 (7.6-ounce) package instant butter and herb mashed potato mix

  13. 1 egg, beaten

  14. 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add oil; add pork, turning on all sides to brown well; drain. Stir in pork gravy, vinegar, steak sauce, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and cayenne. Add mushrooms, celery, onions, green pepper and beans, simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes.

  2. Prepare mashed potato mix according to package directions. Remove from heat, quickly stir in beaten egg. Place in mounds on top of boiling pork mixture; cover tightly and cook about 5 minutes or until dumplings are set. Sprinkle with pecans and serve.
