  1. 1 8-1/4-ounce can crushed pineapple, drained

  2. 1/2 cup chopped red or green sweet pepper

  3. 1/2 cup sliced green onion

  4. 2 tablespoons snipped fresh cilantro or parsley

  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced

  6. 1 jalapeno or serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped*

  7. 1 egg

  8. 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs

  9. 1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed

  10. 1/2 teaspoon ground sage

  11. 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt

  12. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  13. 1 pound uncooked ground chicken or turkey

  1. Preheat grill. For salsa, in a medium bowl combine crushed pineapple, sweet pepper, half of the green onion, the cilantro or parsley, garlic, and jalapeno or serrano pepper. Cover; chill until serving time.
