  1. 2 lbs 908g / 32oz Shrimp - chicken, or crawfish

  2. 1 Oleo

  3. 1 Onion - chopped (large)

  4. 1 Celery - chopped

  5. 3 Water

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Green onions

  7. 2 Tomatoes

  8. 2 cups 474ml Okra - cut up

  9. 2 tablespoons 30ml Oil

  10. 4 tablespoons 60ml Flour

  11. 1 tablespoon 15ml Bell pepper - chopped (large)

  12. 2 Garlic - chopped

  13. 4 tablespoons 60ml Worcestershire sauce

  1. Recipe Instructions Fry fresh okra in oil; do not burn. add oleo and flour. Make roux. Add onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic. Saute until soft. Add water and Worcestershire sauce. Add the tomatoes. Cook for 1-2 hrs. Add the meat of your choice. Let simmer for 30 min. Serve with rice.
