  3. 1/2 tablespoon miso paste -

  4. 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes -

  5. 4 cloves garlic - minced -

  6. 1 teaspoon ginger - grated -

  7. 8 ounces green beans - trimmed

  1. In a small pan, toast the sesame seeds over medium heat until lightly browned and fragrant; set aside. In a small bowl, stir together the soy sauce, miso paste, red pepper flakes, garlic and ginger; set aside. Steam the green beans over a pot with one inch of boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat. Transfer beans to a serving dish. Pour prepared sauce over the green beans and toss to coat. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
