  1. 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate

  2. 3/4 c. butter

  3. 3 whole eggs

  4. 1 c. plus

  5. 1 tbsp. sugar

  6. 1 tsp. vanilla

  7. Baked pie shell or crumb shell

  1. Melt and cool chocolate. Cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate and vanilla and mix. Add 1 egg at a time and beat for 4 minutes per each egg addition at medium speed. Pour into pie shell; top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings if desired. Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
