  1. 1-1/2 cups frozen peas, thawed

  2. 1-1/4 cups milk, divided

  3. 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional

  4. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  1. Place the peas and 1/4 cup of milk in a blender; cover and process until pureed. Pour into a saucepan; add salt if desired, pepper and remaining milk. Cook and stir for 5 minutes or until heated through. Yield: 2 servings.
