  1. 9 cups 360g / 12oz Your favorite chex brand - cereals

  2. 2 cups 186g / 6.6oz Shredded coconut optional

  3. 1 cup 237ml Peanuts

  4. 1 cup 160g / 5.6oz Packed light brown sugar

  5. 1/2 cup 99g / 3 1/2oz Butter - (1 stick)

  6. 1/2 cup 164g / 5.8oz Light corn syrup

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Vanilla extract

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Baking soda

  9. 1 -- (2 cup) semi-sweet, chocolate morsels

  10. 1 1/2 cups 240g / 8 1/2oz Raisins

  1. Recipe Instructions Preheat oven to 250F. Combine cereal, coconut and peanuts in large, small roasting pan. In small saucepan over medium heat, heat brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to boiling, stirring. Without stirring, boil 5 minutes. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over cereal mixture, stir until evenly coated. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool, stirring frequently. Stir in morsels and raisins. Store in airtight container.
