  1. 1 cup raw cashews

  2. 3 cups water

  3. 1/2 tsp. onion salt

  4. 1 Tbsp. onion powder

  5. 2 Tbsp. arrowroot or cornstarch

  6. 1/4 cup instant brown rice

  7. 1 quart tomato puree

  8. 1 Tbsp. honey

  9. 1 tsp. basil if desired

  10. Fresh

  1. Blend cashews, water, onion salt, onion powder, and arrowroot together until smooth.

  2. Pour this mixture into a saucepan with the tomato puree and honey, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally.

  3. Add the rice and simmer until rice is tender.

  4. Salt to taste. Add basil and set off the heat covered for 5 minutes.

  5. Serve garnished with fresh rosemary.
