  1. 1/2 c Chopped hot peppers

  2. 1 1/2 c Chopped green peppers

  3. 1/2 c Vinegar

  1. Blend.

  2. Strain.

  3. Add vinegar to make 3 cups.

  4. Bring to boil.

  5. Add: 1 package Sure-Jell.

  6. Add 5 cups sugar, all at the same time.

  7. Bring to a boil and stir constantly until it won't quit boiling.

  8. (Mary Alice says that when you start stirring, it will quit boiling-- Keep stirring until it keeps boiling.

  9. ) Add a few drops of food coloring--red or green.

  10. Skim, Pour into jars, cool and seal with wax.

  11. Serve with cheese and crackers as an appetizer.
