  8. 2 ts Salt

  9. 2 ts Dry mustard

  10. 1 1/2 ts Dried cilantro leaves

  11. 1 t White pepper

  12. 1 t Dried sweet basil leaves

  13. 3/4 ts Ground ginger

  14. 1/2 ts Black pepper

  15. 1/2 ts Onion powder

  16. 1/2 ts Garlic powder

  17. --OTHER INGREDIENTS--

  18. 1/4 c Peanut oil

  19. 1 c Converted long grain rice

  20. - (uncooked)

  21. 1 c Spaghetti -- uncooked

  22. - in two-inch pieces

  23. 2 c Onions -- chopped

  24. 1 c Celery -- chopped

  25. 2 tb Unsalted butter

  26. 1/4 c Sesame seeds

  27. 2 ts Fresh garlic -- minced

  28. 1/2 c Fresh parsley -- chopped

  29. 3 c Chicken stock

  30. Combine the seasoning mix ingredients thoroughly in a

  31. 3 Tbl plus

  32. 3/4 tsp. Heat the oil in

  33. a 12-inch skillet over high heat until very hot, about 4 minutes. Add the rice, spaghetti, onions, celery,

  34. butter, and 2 Tbl of the seasoning mix. Stir well and cook, shaking the pan and stirring occasionally, until

  35. the rice and spaghetti are golden brown, about 6

  36. minutes. Add the sesame seeds and the remaining

  37. seasoning mix. Stir well and cook 2 minutes. Add the

  38. garlic and cook, stirring occasionally, until the rice

  39. 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in

  40. the parsley and chicken stock, cover the skillet, and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to low

  41. and simmer 12 minutes. Remove from the heat and let

  42. the skillet sit, covered, 8 minutes. This is a great

  43. dinner side dish to accompany almost any kind of meat,

  44. poultry, or fish. Or serve for lunch with a salad. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
