  1. 1 pound ground round

  2. 2 tablespoons dry taco seasoning mix

  3. 2 tablespoons water

  4. 1/2 cup sour cream

  5. 1 tablespoon taco sauce

  6. 1/3 cup crushed tortilla chips

  7. 3/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese with -- peppers tortilla chips additional taco sauce **GARNISHES** sour cream -- and fresh cilantro

  1. Preparation : Combine first 3 ingredients. Divide into 24 equal portions. Using a fork, press each portion into a miniature (1 3/4-inch) muffin pan cup to form a shell. Combine sour cream, taco sauce, and crushed tortilla chips; spoon 1 teaspoon mixture into each shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese, and bake 5 additional minutes. Remove from pans, and serve immediately on a layer of tortilla chips with additional taco sauce. Garnish if desired. Makes 2 dozen.
