  1. 7 ounces pasta, elbow macaroni cooked and drained

  2. 8 slices bacon cooked and crumbled

  3. 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

  4. 1/3 cup chili sauce

  5. 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate

  6. 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon instant

  7. 2 teaspoons sugar

  8. 1 large tomato seeded and chopped

  9. 1/4 cup scallions, spring or green onions sliced

  10. 4 cups lettuce thinly sliced*

  1. In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, lemon juice, bouillon and sugar; stir in macaroni, tomato and onions.

  2. Cover; chill.

  3. Just before serving, stir in lettuce and bacon.

  4. Refrigerate leftovers.
