  1. 3 large tomato's or 1 can diced tomato's olive oil

  2. 1/4 cup of water

  3. 1 carrot chopped into small pieces

  4. 1/4 cup of chopped onion's

  5. 1 tbsp chopped garlic

  6. 1/4 cup fresh basil

  7. 1/2 cup

  1. put tomato's in large saucepan, put olive oil and a 1/4 cup water in pan let tomato's cook till the skin starts to peel off, then add onions, garlic, carrot and basil, let simmer about 20 mins, when 20 mins is up let all cool about 15 mins, then put into a food processor and puree all, then put back into the saucepan add milk and heat for about 15 mins, stirring occasionally.. really good topped with sour cream and served with biscuits or sourdough bread. top with sour cream or grated parmaesan for added flavor.
