  1. Fenugreek seeds 1 Teaspoon

  2. Grated coconut 1 Teaspoon

  3. Oil 30 Milliliter

  4. Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon

  5. Dry red chillies 1 Tablespoon

  6. Coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon

  7. Toor dal 1 Cup (16 tbs)

  8. Ripe tomato 1

  9. Onions 1 Cup (16 tbs) , finely chopped

  10. Sambar powder 2 Teaspoon

  11. Tamarind pulp/Tamarind paste 1 Teaspoon

  12. Hing 1 Pinch

  13. Salt To Taste

  14. Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon

  15. Drumsticks 1

  16. Jaggery 1 Small (lemon size)

  17. Dhania seeds 2 Teaspoon

  18. Dry red chillies 3

  19. Raw rice 14 Teaspoon

  20. Grated coconut 2 Teaspoon

  21. Elaichi 1

  22. Cinnamon stick 1 Small

  23. Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon (Leveled)

  1. Directions Pressure Cook dal, Tomato, Onion Pieces, Turmeric, Hing, Sambar Powder.

  2. In a Kadai,heat oil temper with Mustard seeds, Curry leaves. Add Drumstick and fry for a minute.

  3. Pour 1/4 glass of water and cook till the Drumstick is cooked.

  4. Now add Tamarind pulp or paste, Grinded Paste, Cooked dal and Jaggery.

  5. Boil till it gives good aroma.

  6. Garnish it with Coriander leaves.

  7. Enjoy this delicious Sambar Hot with Idlis, Vada And Rice.
