  1. 8oz red lentils

  2. 1 1/2 litres of water

  3. 1 leek, sliced

  4. 2 carrots, peeled & grated

  5. 1 large potato, peeled & chopped into medium pieces

  6. 2 ham stock cubes

Instructions Jump to Ingredients ↑

  1. Boil lentils and take off residue

  2. Add leek & carrots & simmer for half an hour

  3. Add potato & simmer for another half hour

  4. Add stock cubes & season to serve
