  1. 450 ml vegetable broth

  2. 225 g fine-grained bulgur wheat

  3. 1/2; lemon, zested and juiced

  4. 56 g slivered almonds, toasted

  5. 56 g chopped mint leaves

  6. 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  7. Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  1. Wild-style grains n' thangs 1) In a medium saucepan, bring broth to a boil over high heat. Remove from heat, add bulgur and lemon zest, cover, and let sit for 5 to 7 minutes, until bulgur has absorbed all the water.

  2. Transfer to a serving bowl, mix in almonds, mint, red pepper, lemon juice and salt and pepper, to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.
